Hello, and thank you for checking out an article about me! I'm excited to share with you my story, and what brought my family and I to the great state of Missouri!
"I didn't decide where I would be born, but I did decide where to live." - Anonymous
I was born in Southern California and grew up playing sports for as long as I can remember. I participated in a number of sports both in and out of high school, including golf, soccer, roller hockey, baseball, surfing, volleyball, tennis, and cross country. I guess you could say I was a well rounded athlete!
I went to California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) where I worked with the cross country, women's soccer, tennis, wrestling, and baseball teams as part of the athletic training program there (no golf teams unfortunately!). I gained valuable experience rehabilitating athletes and earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology. After graduating from CSUF, I attended Chapman University for three years where I completed my doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
I started my career as a Physical Therapist working in a small outpatient orthopedic clinic during the week, an inpatient neurological rehab facility on the weekends, and eventually added home health care to the mix to try and pay off student loans (Tip: Never take out more student loans than you need; you'll thank me later!). I eventually started my first business and things seemed to be going well until COVID hit. Needless to say, it was a disaster for everyone, including us.
However, out of tragedy came clarity. My wife Allyson and I came to know that God wanted us to move to the Saint Louis area, and it would be here where we would start an outpatient clinic from the ground up.
With post-graduate education in electric dry needling, manipulation, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, strength and conditioning, and 3D motion capture technology, I knew that Integrative Therapeutics was going to integrate something very different for the Saint Louis community - a winning combination of accurate evaluation and cutting edge treatments to optimize recovery, wellness, and performance.
For those who play golf, I specialize in analyzing full swings via motion capture, mobility, strength, vision, and power assessments for optimizing player development. It is absolutely the best thing you can do for your game!
So whether you are recovering from an injury, want to stay healthy, or need to perform at the highest level, Integrative Therapeutics "Home of the Saint Louis Golf Doc" has something to offer you.
And I would be remiss if I didn't thank the wonderful people of Missouri for giving me the opportunity to serve and help within the St. Louis community. I honor that opportunity, and will continue to strive for excellence in all that I do.
If you have questions for me, or if there is something you love about Missouri please comment below. I would love to hear your thoughts.
